The Petitioner has challenged the notice dated 21st August, 2017 issued by the Sub-divisional Police Officer, Karvir Division, Kolhapur under Section 59(1) of the Maharashtra Police Act, as well as another notice dated 2nd November, 2017 pertaining to Section 55 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

The record of this Petition does not show any stay granted in the proceedings. The Petition is pending since about five years. No steps were taken by the Advocate for the Petitioner to get the matter circulated, as per the record.

In any case, I am not inclined to interfere in the proceedings because the Petitioner was only called upon to show cause. Nothing further survives in this Petition. Hence, this Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
