Heard learned Counsel for the applicant and learned Counsel for the respondent.

Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that this Court under order dated 21st April, 2017 (CORAM: R.G. KETKAR, J.) allowed the applicant to withdraw an amount of Rs.20,000/ deposited by the petitioner towards interim maintenance granted under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. But the applicant has no any bank account in her name i.e. Pournima Mahesh Khamkar. Therefore, it would create difficulties for the applicant to Shridhar Sutar
2 909-caw-861.18.doc withdraw the said amount. The applicant submits that she has an saving account in IDBI bank at Anandnagar, Sinhgad Road, Pune in her maiden name i.e. Poournima Sambhaji Shinde. Therefore, learned Counsel for the applicant requested to issue directions to the Registry of this Court to allow the applicant for withdrawal of amount of Rs.20,000/ deposited towards interim maintenance by the respondent by cheque and same be issued in her maiden name i.e. Poournima Sambhaji Shinde. In view of these submissionsand the nature of subject matter, there is no impediment to allow the applicant for withdrawal of amount in her maiden name. 3.
Accordingly, civil application is hereby allowed. The Registry of this Court is directed to issue the account payee cheque of Rs.20,000/ alongwith interest accrued thereon in the maiden name of the applicant i.e. Poournima Sambhaji Shinde to enable her to encash the cheque through her saving bank account maintained in IDBD bank, branch at Anandnagar, Sinhgad Road, Pune. 4.
