This is an application for condonation of delay of 1 year and 280 days in preferring the present Appeal against the conviction of the appellant. 3.

It is stated that, the present Sessions Case was tried at Solapur and after conviction, the appellant was lodged at Yerwada Central Prison, Pune. As the appellant was in jail, he could not immediately appoint an Advocate to represent him and therefore, there is a delay in filing the present appeal.

In view thereof and for the reasons stated in the application, delay is condoned.
