After hearing the parties for some time, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the order of the Chief Secretary remanding the matter to the Sub-Divisional Officer be modified as remand to the Deputy Director of Land Records, Pune Division, Pune as any challenge to Consolidation scheme would lie before the Deputy Director of Land Records.

Learned counsel for the Respondents concede to the said position as also the learned AGP.

In light of the above, clause No.3 of the order dated 22nd Harish 1 of

37-WP-14195-2017.doc February, 2017 is modified and the matter is remanded to the Deputy Director of Land Records who will issue necessary notices to all concerned and consider the matter after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the parties.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
