By this petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have impugned the order and judgment dated 31st March, 2015 passed by the learned Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune allowing the appeal filed by the respondent nos. 1 and 2 and holding the petitioners disqualified as per the provisions of section 14(1)(h) of the Bombay Village Panchayat Act, 1958. The impugned order came to be stayed by an order dated 29th April, 2015 passed by this court. The period of general elections for the years 2012 to 2017 has already expired. Nothing survives in the writ petition. Writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
