DATE : 29 APRIL 2022 P.C. :- Contention is that the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioner as belonging to Koli-Mahadev Scheduled Tribe is pending since the year 2013. Same is not yet decided.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that vigilance has been conducted. The Petitioner has filed say to the vigilance report and even hearing was conducted in March 2021. However, final decision is not yet taken.

We have heard the learned AGP.

In case the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioner is pending with the Committee, then the Committee shall decide the said proceedings preferably within three months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner. The Petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 11th May 2022. 5.
