Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner has put forth in his oral arguments before us that the Authority- the Director of Handlooms, Powerlooms and Textiles had granted permission only to sell the land in question but not the buildings. Learned counsel states that even though the proposal was submitted for the land including the building as well, the Authority has granted permission only to sell the land. However, to the query whether this grievance

skn 2 36-WP-5124.2022.doc has been brought to the notice of the concerned authority, the learned counsel for the Petitioner has drawn our attention to the representation submitted to the Authority on 18 February 2022. This representation is an advocate's notice running in four pages, however, it does not mention this grievance precisely but is in general terms.

It is necessary that a representation should set out not only the relevant facts but also the grievance so that the concerned Authority can understand it and focus on it. Such representations without culling out specific points needlessly take the time of the public authorities, which time can be invested in performing other public duties.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that a representation precisely setting out the grievance of the Petitioner in concise form will be filed to the Authority. Granting this liberty to the Petitioner, we dispose of this writ petition. (SANDEEP V. MARNE, J.) (NITIN JAMDAR, J.)
