The Petitioner has prayed for a direction to the Respondents to release the grant-in-aid which is quantified at Rs.21,01,042/- When the petition had come on board on 13 January 2022, the following order was passed: "The Petitioner is seeking a direction in the nature of writ of mandamus to release the grant-in-aid admissible to the Petitioner. The learned AGP seeks time to take instructions and inform the Court as to why the grant is not being released and when the same will be released. At the request of the learned AGP to take instructions and to inform the Court accordingly, stand over to 3 February 2022."

Today, the learned AGP, on instructions from Respondent No.4- District Women and Child Development Officer, submits that this amount of Rs.21,01,042/- has already been directed to be released in favour of the Petitioner by an order issued on 3 January 2022 i.e. before the aforesaid order was passed, however, it could not be pointed out to this Court earlier. 3.

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP on instructions, which we accept, no further orders need to be passed in this petition. Needless to state that as per the order passed, the actual disbursement should be done at the earliest. 4.

Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
