The petitioner seeks formal order categorizing him so that his date of release is ascertained. Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has put in 14­years of actual imprisonment and with remission it is about 20 years.

Learned APP submits that the proposal for re­categorization is under consideration and competent authority has recently received the Judgment ­ Page­1/2

Nalawade 5-wp-1653-19.doc delivered by the trial court. She is seeking time of eight weeks to enable that authority to take decision.

We have not recorded any finding on any disputed issues. However, we direct the competent authority to expedite the action on proposal and to complete it within a period of eight weeks after receipt of this order by it. 4.
