In this application, the Applicant has approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with an FIR bearing C.R.No.26/2022, registered against him at Sadar Bazar Police Station, Solapur, under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

On 21.04.2022, when this application came up for Page No. 1 of 4
consideration, this Court found that a prima facie case for grant of ad-interim protection was made out by the Applicant and that as such ad-interim protection could be granted subject to the Applicant to report to the Investigating Officer for two days on 25.04.2022 and 26.04.2022 for the purpose of investigation and interrogation. Consequently, the following order granting adinterim protection was passed in favour of the Applicant. "i) In the event of arrest of the Applicant in C.R. No.26 of 2022 registered with Sadar Bazar Police Station, Solapur, the Applicant be released on interim bail on his furnishing Bail Bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.
ii) The Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer for two days on 25th April and 26th April, 2022 for the purpose of investigation and interrogation." 3.
Today, when the application is listed for further consideration, Mr Kamran Shaikh, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant submitted that, the Applicant had attended the Police Station as directed and cooperated with the investigation and that, therefore, the application may be allowed in the interest of justice.

Mr V. B. Konde-Deshmukh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor confirms that the Applicant had indeed cooperated Page No. 2 of 4
with the investigation. He submits that this Court may issue appropriate directions to cooperate further with the investigation. Learned APP submits that this Court may pass appropriate direction in this regard.

Considering the overall circumstances and having regard to the fact that the transactions were of the years 2004 to 2006 and the evidence is bound to be of a documentary nature, I am therefore, inclined to confirm interim protection by allowing the present application.

Given the above, the application is allowed in the following terms.
ORDER
a) It is directed that in the event the Applicant is arrested in connection with C.R.No.26/2022 registered at Sadar Bazar Police Station, Solapur, under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, he shall be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- and surety in the like amount.
b) The Applicant shall not, himself or through any other person, indulge in any activity that would tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses. Page No. 3 of 4
c) The Applicant shall cooperate with the investigation.
