This an Application for withdrawal of the amount of back wages deposited by the Respondent (Original Petitioner). 2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3.
The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that there are five employees who had approached this Court in a N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2
46-ia-3754-2022 in wp-11882-2016 batch of Writ Petitions out of which two had approached the Supreme Court.

The learned counsel has pointed out the order dated 18 January 2016 by which the Supreme Court had permitted the withdrawal of 50% of the dues of the workmen w.e.f. 2001 till their date of superannuation. It is pointed out that in the present Petition the Applicant is still in service.

It transpires from the record that the Respondent (Original Petitioner) has deposited an amount of Rs.18,82,133/-, pursuant to the order dated 30 October 2017, before this Court. 6.
After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Applicant is permitted to withdraw an amount of Rs.9 Lakhs. Ordered accordingly. The remaining amount shall continue to stay invested in a Nationalized Bank.
Interim Application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
