1) This is an application for suspension of substantive sentence and releasing the applicants on bail.

2) The applicants have been convicted under section 324 read with section 34 of the IPC and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment (S.I.) for one year and to pay fine of Rs. 6,000/­ each, in default of payment of fine to further undergo S.I. for 30 days by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Gadhinglaj, District Kolhapur by its Judgment and Order dated 26.2.2009. The Criminal Appeal No. 8 of 2009 preferred by the applicants has been dismissed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gadhinglaj by its Judgment and Order dated 30.03.2016. 3) The substantive sentence imposed upon the applicants is one

4) The learned counsel for the applicants submitted that as of today the applicants have already undergone the sentence of about 20 days. The substantive sentence imposed upon the applicants is hereby suspended during the hearing and final disposal of the present revision application. 5) The applicants be released on bail on their furnishing a PR bond of Rs.15,000/­ each with one or two separate solvent local sureties in the like amount.
