Heard. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that though this Court by order dated 16th January, 2017 in Writ Petition No.7903 of 2016 directed the Respondent to take appropriate steps for deciding their application for allotment of a land as project affected person, they failed and neglected to do so.

The learned AGP appearing on behalf of the Respondent, after taking instructions from the concerned officer, who is present in Court, makes a statement that they have already intimated to the Aswale 1/2

30.cp.239.18.doc Petitioner by their letter dated 11th December, 2017 that he is not entitled for allotment of alternate land. The letter dated 11th December, 2017 is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. In view of subsequent development and letter dated 11th December, 2017, we do not find any substance in the present Contempt Petition. Same stands dismissed. No order as to cost. ( B. P.
