1) Learned A.P.P., on instructions from the Assistant Police Inspector, Kokrud Police Station, District Sangli, submitted that, the investigation of present crime is completed. However, in view of Order dated 29th August 2016, Final Report could not be filed in the Court of competent jurisdiction. That, the police have reached to the conclusion that, offence under Section 406 of Indian Penal Code (I.P.C.) is not made out and as far as offence under Section 506 of I.P.C. is concerned, the police are intending to file 'N.C. Summary Report' before the Court of competent jurisdiction. That, if this Court grants permission, the said Final Report will be submitted within 1/2

Osk 7-Apl-475-2016.doc a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of the Order on the official website of the High Court of Bombay. The said statement is accepted. 2) In view thereof, we permit the Investigating Agency to submit its Final Report in the Court of competent jurisdiction within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of present Order on the official website of the High Court of Bombay. The Order dated 29th August 2016 is accordingly modified.

3) In view of the fact that, the police have reached to the aforenoted final conclusion, Petition for quashing of CR No. 20 of 2016 registered with Kokrud Police Station, District Sangli, does not survive and is accordingly disposed off.
