By this application, the applicant seeks quashing of the FIR i.e. C.R. No. 32/2020 registered with the Ichalkaranji Police Station, Kolhapur, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 354, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

62-APL-487-2020.doc As soon as the matter was called out, learned A.P.P, on instructions, submitted that the trial has come to a fag end, inasmuch as, the 313 statement of the accused has also been recorded. Learned counsel for the applicant does not dispute the said position. In view of the aforesaid, since the trial is at the fag end, the question of entertaining the aforesaid application does not arise. Application stands dismissed.

Needless to state that we have not gone into the merits of the application and as such, all contentions of the applicant are kept open.
