The petitioner was elected from the reserved category in the election of respondent-Grampanchayat. The election took place during period from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, a dispute application before Additional Collector was filed, which has been allowed, and election of petitioner to Grampanchayat stood canceled in terms of Sections 10-1(A) and 16 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959, on account of non-submission of the caste validity certificate.

Since the term of petitioner's election is over, nothing survives for consideration in these writ petitions. 3.

The writ petitions stand disposed of.
