Heard Mr. S.G.Karandikar, learned counsel for the petitioner in both petitions.

In the order dated 1.4.2016, statement made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the contesting respondent that the petitioner and contesting respondent were expired, was recorded. At the request of learned counsel for the parties, matter was adjourned till today for taking appropriate steps.

Mr. Karandikar submitted that he
2/2 WP/4197/1991&4106/95 had sent a registered letter dated 6.4.2016 to the petitioner for taking steps in view of death of the petitioner.
However, till date he has not received any response.

In view thereof, it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing these Petitions. Hence, Petitions are dismissed in default. Rule is discharge.
In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
