The Petitioner was appointed on vacant post of "System Analyst", as a stop gap arrangement in the Government College of Engineering, Vidyanagar, Karad, by order dated 18th June, 2016. Period of appointment, as System Analyst, specified under the Borey 1/2

spb/ 10wp5129-17.odt order is for two years. In view of the impugned order dated 11th April, 2017, the services of the Petitioner have been terminated for the reasons recorded in the order. The Petitioner contends that though the period specified in the order of appointment is over, the order impugned in this petition, directing termination of the service of Petitioner puts a stigma and it would not be permissible for the Respondents to issue a stigmatic order without holding appropriate enquiry. Learned counsel appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the order impugned in this petition dated 11th April, 2017 will be withdrawn and will be substituted by simplicitor order of termination w.e.f. 11th April, 2017. Statement made is accepted.

In view of the statement made on behalf of the Respondents, the grievance raised by the Petitioner in the instant petition stands redressed. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

In view of the disposal of the writ petition, Civil Application No. 1479 of 2017 does not survive and is disposed of.
