This petition was before the Court on 9­1­2018 and it was adjourned, at the request of the petitioners' Advocate, to 23­1­2018. Thereafter, the writ petition appeared before this Court on 19­7­2018. That Bench found that the petitioners and their Advocate were absent. But since the petition did not pertain to that Bench, it was made over to us. On 29­1­2019, it was listed before us and at the request of the petitioners' Advocate, we adjourned it to 12­2­2019. The petition has been

suresh 913-WP-5255.2014.doc on our board but could not be taken up for want of time. When the petition was listed on 15­2­2019, it was placed today at the request of the parties.

Today, we find that the petitioners and their Advocate are absent.

We do not think that we can adjourn this petition which is pending from the year 2014 in this Court. It is the duty of the Advocate to come and argue whenever it is listed and called out for admission. Finding that we have accommodated the Advocate enough, so also the parties, we do not think that the writ petition can be kept pending any further. It is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Ad­interim/interim relief, if any, stands vacated forthwith.
