Learned counsel appearing for the respondent tenders an affidavit affirmed on 18th January 2021 and states that the order passed by this Court is already complied with though belatedly. The reasons for delay are explained in the affidavit.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions, states that he may be allowed to withdraw this contempt petition in view of the respondent already having complied with the order passed by this Court.

Affidavit filed by the respondent is taken on record. Contempt Petition No.196 of 2020 is accordingly dismissed in view of the respondent already having complied with the order passed by this Court.

We are not inclined to take an action against the respondent for non-compliance with the order passed by this Court in view of the explanation rendered in the affidavit. The respondent had already issued DRC in favour of the petitioners.
