The learned Senior Advocate for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that the services of the respondents - employees in both the writ petitions have been absorbed in some other Educational Institution. He further submits that an order of status-quo was granted while issuing rule in the writ petitions.

Since the services of the respondents-employees have been absorbed in some other Institution, it is not necessary to adjudicate the challenge on merits. The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.

Needless to state that the points raised are kept open for being raised in appropriate proceedings.
