Pursuant to the order dated 26th September 2024, the learned Additional Government Pleader has tendered a copy of Circular dated 15th October 2024 issued by the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance. The same is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification. In accordance with the said Circular, offline forms claiming amount of scholarship are permitted to be accepted till 30/11/2024. Thereafter, the said forms after being verified are to be submitted to the State Government by 31st January 2025.

In accordance with the aforesaid Circular, Mr. N. C. Walimbe, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent no.3 submits that within a period of 15 days from today, the requisite forms would be made available to the respondent no.6-Institution. The statement is accepted. The learned counsel for the respondent no.6 submits that on receiving the said forms, the same would be duly submitted before 30th November 2024. In case such forms are duly submitted, further steps in accordance with the Circular dated 15th October 2024 shall be taken.

In view of aforesaid, the purpose of filing the writ petition stands served. It is noted that similarly situated students who are entitled to seek such benefit can also rely upon the directions issued hereinabove and seek that benefit. The writ petition is disposed of.
