The Applicant preferred Criminal Appeal No. 920 of 2001 which has been disposed of vide judgment and order dated 29th of April, 2022. The Applicant has been convicted for offence under Section 304 Part I. He was directed to surrender to Jail Custody within four weeks.

Learned Advocate for Applicant submits that the Applicant is ailing and he was hospitalized for treatment. Subsequently, he was discharged. On 19th May, 2022, he is again admitted at Rao Nursing Home. He was in ICU and then shifted to Special Ward. Therefore, time to surrender stipulated in judgment and order dated 29th April, 2022 passed by this Court may be extended.

Considering the submissions of learned Counsel for the Applicant and medical case papers annexed to this application, time to surrender to Jail Custody in accordance with the directions issued in the judgment and order dated 29th April, 2022 passed by this Court in Criminal Appeal No.920 of 2001 is extended by a period of three months from today. 5.

Interim Application is disposed of.
