By this petition, the Petitioner is seeking to quash the proposal recommending premature release of the Petitioner on completion of 26 years. The learned APP states that the Petitioner has approached at premature stage and the decision is yet to be taken on the proposal. We agree with this submission. If there is order passed rejecting the proposal, the Petitioner can always challenge the order. However, since the proposal is pending since more than one and half year, we direct the Respondents to take decision on the same within a period of four weeks and communicate the same to the Petitioner. Needless to state that it will be open to the Petitioner to challenge the said decision if the decision is adverse to the Petitioner. 2.
