1] By way of present petition, petitioner who is an employee of the respondent/Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri challenges the order dated 27.04.2021, whereby, petitioner is subjected to suspension. 2] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent has suspended the petitioner without giving opportunity to submit his explanation to newly added charges.

3] The learned counsel for Respondent on instructions submits that the Petitioner has responded to all the show cause notices issued to 1/2

It is also submitted that departmental enquiry is already initiated against the petitioner, however, due to non co-operation from the petitioner, it could not be concluded. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for respondent that the respondent is desirous and willing to conclude the enquiry as early as possible provided the petitioner extends full cooperation in the enquiry.

4] Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that the Petitioner would extend co-operation in concluding the departmental enuiry. The statement made before this Court is accepted as an undertaking.

5] Considering this fact, we are of of the opinion that the Petition itself can be disposed of with the following directions : i] Respondent/Zilla Parishad is directed to conclude the enquiry against the petitioner as early as possible, but in any case not later than 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6] All the contentions are kept open.
