After having heard the learned counsel for some time, it is ordered that if an amount of Rs.75,000/­ out of compensation amount of Rs.1,69,000/­ is not deposited by the applicant within a period of 6 weeks from today, the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kolhapur is directed to issue conviction warrant against the applicant in S.C.C. No.1536/2007.

If the amount is deposited, the sentence of the applicant shall remain suspended and the applicant shall be admitted to bail on the same terms on which he was directed to be released by the trial Court.

The conviction of the applicant is in the year 2010 and his appeal against conviction was dismissed in the year 2015. As such, for last almost more than ten years, the applicant who is convicted has not paid a single pie towards compensation. As such, no further extension for depositing the amount will be granted.
