The Petitioner seeks appointment to the post of Trackman pursuant to the advertisement dated 10 September 2012. This writ petition is filed on 26 April 2019. The only reason given in this petition for the time taken between 2012 to 2019 is found in paragraph-7 of the petition wherein it is stated that numerous exchanges of communications took place between the RespondentCorporation and the Petitioner. When a query was put to the learned counsel for the Petitioner as to when the Petitioner came to know that he was not selected, he stated that it was sometime in 2013. From 2013 onward the Petitioner could have invoked writ

skn 2 21-10500.19-wp.doc jurisdiction of this Court. At this belated stage, request of the Petitioner for grant of appointment in pursuance to the advertisement of 2012 cannot be considered.

Petition is hopelessly barred by laches. Writ petition is rejected.
