1) The Second Appeal is placed at the behest of the learned counsel appearing for the Appellant for speaking to the minutes of the order dated 7 March 2024.
2) It is pointed out that by filing Consent Terms, the Appellant and Respondent have agreed to dissolve their marriage by a decree of divorce. Accordingly, Consent Terms have been filed on 7 March 2024 which are taken on record and the Second Appeal has been disposed of in view of the Consent Terms.
It is however pointed out though the Consent Terms reflected the Agreement on the part of the parties to dissolve their marriage, there is no specific covenant/direction for dissolution of the marriage by a 1 of
decree of divorce. In my view therefore, a clarification needs to be issued in respect of the status of marriage between the Appellant and Respondent. Therefore, in the order dated 7 March 2024 following directions be added at the end of the order :
'The marriage between Appellant and Respondent shall stand dissolved by a Decree of Divorce'.

Consent Terms are tendered, the same are taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. They are signed by the Appellant and Respondent who are personally present before the Court who admit their signatures, as well as the contents thereof. The statements made in the Consent Terms are accepted as undertakings given to the Court.
2) The Second Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Consent Terms. 3) The marriage between Appellant and Respondent shall stand dissolved by a decree of divorce.
