By the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner inter alia seeks the following reliefs :- "(a) This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to hold that the action on the part of the Respondent No.2 and 3 in not flling the posts reserved for Handicap Employees for the posts of Head Master, Cluster Head and Education Development Ofcer in promotions with Zilla Parishad, Solapur, as illegal and contrary to the provisions of The Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 and the Notifcations issued by the Government of Maharashtra."
Respondent No.3 - Solapur Zilla Parishad has fled an afdavit dated 18.12.2019. The deponent of the Afdavit is present in Court. A letter dated 17.12.2019 issued by Mr Sanjaykumar Rathod, Education Ofcer (Primary) Zilla Parishad, Solapur is annexed to the said Afdavit, wherein it is recorded that the Pg 1 of 2
911.wpl.14279.2019.doc Solapur Zilla Parishad has already implemented the policy of 3% reservation by giving the appointments to handicapped persons. Advocate Deokar on instructions, states that the Solapur Zilla Parishad will continue to abide by the policies pertaining to the reservations in favour of handicapped persons under the Persons With Disabilities Act, 1995 and also the Government Resolutions issued from time to time including the Government Resolution dated 07.06.2006. The statements and undertakings are accepted as given to the Court. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
