This petition arises out of the dismissal of petitioner's complaint under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Learned counsel for respondent no.1 submits that there is an affidavit dated 18th July 2022, filed by respondent no.1, in this Court thereby stating that the respondent is agreeable to a decree for dissolution of marriage subject to the petitioner withdrawing the pending litigation and not claiming any maintenance/alimony from Page no. 1 of 2

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is agreeable to the suggestion made by respondent no.1 in his affidavit dated 18th July 2024 filed in this Court. He further submits that the petition for divorce filed by the petitioner is pending before the Civil Court Senior Division, Gadhinglaj. He submits that the date before the Civil Court is 1st August 2024. He therefore submits that the parties shall appear before the Civil Court for seeking dissolution of the marriage by mutual consent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in view of the aforesaid agreement between the parties, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition.

Thus, in view of the aforesaid amicable agreement between the parties, nothing would survive for any consideration in the petition. Hence, the petition is disposed of. (GAURI GODSE, J.) Page no. 2 of 2
