By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following substantive relief;

"(a) This Hon'ble Court by invoking writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, be pleased to direct the Respondents to take necessary steps by registering FIR on the complaint dated 16th April, 2022 filed by petitioner and file chargesheet at the earliest." Wakodikar 1/2

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that although the petitioners have filed a complaint with Kurlap Police Station, Sangli on 16th April, 2022, no steps had been taken by the Police to investigate the said complaint. The said complaint is at Exh.A at page 13 of the petition.

Learned APP, on instructions, submits that the Police will take an appropriate decision and communicate the decision to the petitioner within one week from today. Statement accepted. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the aforesaid petition. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition.
