This is an application for suspension of sentence and releasing the applicant on bail during the pendency of the revision application.

The applicant - accused has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 279, 304A, 337, 338 of Indian Penal Code and Section 184 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and sentenced to suffer six months simple imprisonment, on each count, alongwith varying amounts of fine, with default stipulation, by the judgment and order dated 2nd February, 2015 passed by the learned JMFC, Gargoti. The appeal thereagainst, preferred by the applicant, 1/2
918-CRIAPPLN276-19.DOC being Criminal Appeal No.30 of 2015, came to be dismissed by the learned Sessions Judge, Kolhapur, by the judgment and order dated 27th March, 2019.

It is submitted that the applicant was on bail throughout.

Having regard to the quantum of the punishment and the situation in life of the applicant, the substantive sentence imposed by the learned JMFC, Gargoti, by judgment and order dated 2nd February, 2015 in Summary Criminal Case No.59 of 2012, and confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge, in Criminal Appeal No.30 of 2015, stands suspended during the pendecy of this Revision Application and the applicant be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond of Rs.15,000/ with a surety in the like amount.

The application stands disposed of.
