The Petition filed by the wife challenges the order passed by the District & Sessions Judge, Sangli in Criminal Revision No.19 of 2015.

The Petition is pending for adjudication before this Court since the year 2017. The parties have been referred to the Mediator, Sangli and the Report dated 17/02/2020 of the learned Mediator is received. The same is taken on record. The Mediator has reported that the Mediation has resulted into a success and as an outcome, the parties have tendered consent terms on record. 3.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave of the Court to implead Ms. Tejaswini Hemant Lad, who is the signatory to the consent terms and who has also participated in the Mediation proceedings, as Respondent No.3. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The necessary amendment to be carried out forthwith.

The consent terms signed by the Petitioner - Ujwala Hemant Lad and Respondent No.1 - Hemant Dinanath Lad also bear the signature of Ms. Tejaswini Hemant Lad. The consent terms are also signed by learned counsel for the Petitioner - Mr. Akshay Kulkarni and learned counsel for Respondent No.1 - Mr. Kuldeep Nikam. The consent terms are drawn on 02/03/2020. The consent terms are taken on record and marked as 'X'. 5.

The Petitioner, Respondent Nos.1 and 3 are present in the Court. On being specifically asked, the Petitioner responded that

3/3 03 Cri-WP2255.17 (53).odt she is satisfied with the settlement effected amicably between the parties and that she does not want to prosecute the proceedings initiated by her and she will not raise any claim at any point of time in future. The Respondent who is present in the Court also states that he will abide by the terms and conditions contained in the consent terms signed by them on 02/03/2020. 6.

Accepting the consent terms as resolution to the discord between the parties, the Petitioner does not press the Criminal Writ Petition. The Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of in terms of the consent terms.
