The Petitioners have challenged the final list of voters under article 226 of the Constitution of India. The election Nesarikar

2 / 2 503-WP-2627-22.odt programme is already declared. We are not inclined to interfere with the election programme. The Petitioners will have alternate remedy to challenge the election after declaration of result u/s 91 of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. 3.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed off as not maintainable in view of the alternate remedy available to the Petitioners.

If any adverse order is passed against the Petitioners, the Petitioners are at liberty to file appropriate proceedings against the conduct of election permissible in law. 5.

It is made clear that we have not expressed any view on the merits of the matter.
