Heard Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP for Respondent - State. 2.

Mr. Rayrikar placed on record communication dated 02.12.2022 issued by Superintendent, State Excise Department, Kolhapur in respect of the present status of the Petitioner's country liquor shop in District Kolhapur. The said letter dated 02.12.2022 is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. He submitted that clause 3 of the said letter states that the name of the Petitioner stands deleted from CL-3 Register pursuant to order dated 18.05.1997 passed by the Collector, Kolhapur. In that view of the matter Mr. Rayrikar submitted that the present petition has become infructuous. 3.
