The challenge in this writ petition is to an order passed by the Joint Charity Commissioner rejecting petitioners' application for appointment of Election Officer and the defective election process. However, the election is over. Therefore, the cause of action for filing the writ petition has become academic. 2.

The writ petition, therefore, stands disposed of as infructuous.
