Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned APP for the Respondents/State.
Perused the reasons assigned in the impugned order by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division. I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned orders. However, if the Petitioner has any other ground to seek permission/license to possess the weapon besides the grounds which have already been taken, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to apply afresh to the Competent Authority. If any such application is filed by the Petitioner, the Competent Authority to decide the said application on its own merits and in accordance with law. With the observations as aforesaid, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
