The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with C.R.No.204/2019 registered with Vita Police Station, District Sangli u/sec. 307, 326, 323, 504, 506, 143, 147, 148, 149 of I.P.C. and Section 25 (4) of the Indian Arms Act.

The FIR is lodged on 29/04/2019 by one Suraj Mulani. In the FIR he has mentioned that because of earlier dispute about seven known and two unknown persons assaulted the first informant by the weapons like sickle, kukari and sword. The FIR clearly mentions that Purti Parab

2 902 - ABA No.1235-19.doc one accused Sanket Jadhav assaulted the first informant with sickle on his stomach and the present applicant assaulted the first informant on his back. The other accused also assaulted the first informant with deadly weapons.

I have perused the investigation papers. The injuries suffered by the first informant are described as grievous injuries. One of the injuries is on a vital part. The role attributed to the applicant is that he assaulted the first informant on back with sharp weapons and the dimensions of that injury are 6 cm x 2 cm x 1 cm. These are not minor injuries. Prima facie the offence u/sec. 307 of I.P.C. is made out. Looking to the injuries caused, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the applicant. Hence, the following order.

ORDER
