In paragraph No. 4 of the Affidavit dated 21st November 2022, Petitioner has averred that he has no personal interest in the matter and he has filed the Petition at the instance of the villagers. 2.

We have perused the prayers in the Petition. Petitioner does not seek any personal relief in favour of him. The Writ Petition is in the nature of Public Interest Litigation. At this stage, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw this petition with liberty to file Public Interest Litigation.

Leave as prayed is granted. The Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view on merits on the contentions raised in the Petition. All contentions of both parties are kept open.
