This appeal is preferred by the original non­Applicant No.1 challenging the judgment and award dated 25/03/2011 passed by the MACT Sangli in MACP No.74/2007 directing the Appellant to pay sum of Rs.2,80,606/­ with 7.5% interest by way of compensation to the Respondent/claimant. The learned counsel for the Appellant submits that the Tribunal has granted compensation on higher side. The Tribunal has not considered the contributory negligence at the time of fixing the compensation. He submits that the Appellant has good chance of success in the present appeal.
