Pursuant to our order dated 27th June 2025 directing the Family Court, Solapur to submit a report as to why repeatedly extension of time is sought to dispose of Petition No.A-123/2017, which is pending before the said Court, the learned Judge has submitted her report. The said report dated 14th July 2025 is taken on record.

From the said report, it appears that the parties are prolonging the proceedings. However, in para 9 of the said report, it N. S. Chitnis 1/2

6-fca.37.2021.doc is stated as under:- "9) As the examination of witnesses is almost complete, I have already passed necessary orders and scheduled both these matters for day-to-day hearing. The matters are now at their final stage, and it is therefore expected that they can be decided shortly. I am taking every possible effort to ensure their expeditious disposal."

Considering the aforesaid, we grant extension of time of two months to dispose of Petition No.A-123/2017, pending before the learned Judge. We make it clear that no further extension will be granted and that all parties shall co-operate in the expeditious disposal of the petition.
