Having heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No. 2-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee to decide Petitioner's claim for caste validity certificate as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the matter. Respondent No. 2 shall decide the claim of the petitioner independently on its own merits and in accordance with law. Talwalkar 1/2
