Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

Petitioner seeks a direction to the Respondent No.5-Education Officer, to decide the proposal submitted by the Respondent Nos.6 & 7 for individual approval to the appointment of the Petitioner in the post of Shikshan Sevak.

The Petitioner was appointed on 30th October 2020 due to the retirement of one Assistant Teacher. The post of Assistant Teacher had 1 of

become vacant in the Respondent No.7-Secondary School. The Petitioner was appointed by an appointment order dated 30th October 2020 and joined the post on 2nd November 2020. The Headmaster of the Respondent No.7-Secondary School submitted a proposal for individual approval on 8th January 2024 to the office of the Respondent No.5Education Officer. 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Respondent No.5 has kept the proposal pending and though he was obliged to take a decision on the said proposal, no such decision has been taken so far. 5.

We have heard learned A.G.P. for the Respondents-State. 6.

Present Petition can be disposed of by directing the Respondent No.5-Education Officer to take a decision on the proposal submitted by the Respondent Nos.6 & 7 for individual approval to the appointment of the Petitioner, which is the subject matter of the present Petition, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. Ordered accordingly.

The deficiencies, if any, in the proposal be communicated to the Management by the Respondent No.5-Education Officer within a period of two weeks from the receipt of the copy of this order. The Management, in turn, to rectify and comply with the said deficiencies within a period of three weeks thereafter.

Keeping all contentions open, the Petition is disposed of. 9.
