1.

In the instant case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer ('SLAO') has granted compensation of Rs.42,140/- which is further enhanced by the Reference Court by Rs.41,710/-. The amount being meager, this Court would not entertain the appeal filed by the State and the appeal is accordingly dismissed.

2.

It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals, where the quantum of compensation granted is large.

3.

Pending applications, if any, stand disposed off. (SHIVKUMAR DIGE, J.)
