P.C. :- By the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks quashing and setting aside of the Order dated 25th May, 2021 passed in R.T.S. Appeal No.28 of 2019 by Respondent No.3 remanding the matter to the Collector. The Learned Advocate appearing for the Petitioner on instructions states that he will be satisfied if the Collector, District : Kolhapur is directed to dispose off the proceedings under Section 20(2) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code within a specified period. In view thereof, the Collector, Kolhapur shall decide the proceedings under Section 20(2) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order. Before passing any order, the Collector, Kolhapur shall give a hearing to the

He shall decide the matter strictly on merits and uninfluenced by any of the observations/findings in the earlier orders. The Petitioners shall also be at liberty to move the Collector, Kolhapur seeking interim/ad-interim reliefs. The above Writ Petition stands disposed off.
