In the instant case, for the purpose of business loss, the reference Court has granted compensation of Rs.19,685/-. The said amount being meagre, this Court would not entertain the appeal filed by the State and the appeal is accordingly dismissed. 2.
It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals, where the quantum of compensation granted is large.
