The applicant/accused has moved this application for bail as he is facing charges under section 376(G) of the Indian Penal Code registered at Dapoli police station, Ratnagiri. In this case, the prosecutrix has given the information on 6.9.2014. At that time, the prosecutrix was 17 years and 6 months old. There are allegations of keeping sexual relations on the promise of marriage by the applicant/accused. The prosecutrix became pregnant and delivered a baby.

The learned Prosecutor has pointed out that the learned Sessions Judge has on 8.7.2015 rejected the bail application of the applicant/accused on the ground that charge is framed and the matter is kept for hearing.

In view of this, without going into the merits of the matter, as the learned Sessions Judge is proceeding with the matter and it is fixed for examination of the witnesses, this application is disposed of. The learned Sessions Judge to proceed with the matter and endeavour to expedite the same and decide it on or before 31.10.2015.
