The learned AGP points out and we think correctly, that this Petition was instituted on 20th June 2023. The office objections are till date not cleared. There is no record of the Petitioner seeking any urgent circulation. Now, as the period is about to expire, this Petition has been moved. In such circumstances, it will not be appropriate to issue any time-bound directions to the 1st Respondent.

Considering the consequences that the Petitioner would have to face in case the 1st Respondent does not decide the validity of the Petitioner's caste certificate on or before 10th August 2024, we 9th July 2024

22.WP.15190-23.DOCX direct the 1st Respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending before it concerning the Petitioner's caste certificate as expeditiously as possible.

The authenticated copy of this order should be placed before the 1st Respondent and we request the learned AGP to communicate this order to the 1st Respondent for compliance. 4.

The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms without any order for costs.
