The only relief sought in this petition is to expedite the hearing of the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Divisional Commissioner under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the appeal is pending before the authority from 29th March, 2022. 3.

The Divisional Commissioner, Pune is directed to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner viz. Criminal Appeal No. 50 of 2022 within a period of six weeks from the date of the receipt of this order.
