The proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as a Peon is rejected, relying on the Government Resolution dated 12.02.2015. We have heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned A.G.P. 2.

The Petitioner claims to be appointed on 14.06.2011. Naturally the Government Resolution issued subsequently on 12.02.2015 would not apply to the appointment made prior to the said Government Resolution.

In the light of the above, the impugned order is quashed and set aside. The Education Officer shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within four months.
